Your 8 Days Kenya–Tanzania Safari begins with your arrival in Nairobi, the vibrant gateway to East Africa. Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or pick-up from your hotel, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional driver-guide who will brief you on the exciting journey ahead. After a short orientation, embark on an inspiring Nairobi City Tour, visiting some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks. Begin your adventure at the Nairobi National Park, the only national park in the world located within a capital city where you can spot lions, giraffes, rhinos, and zebras roaming against the backdrop of the city skyline. Next, visit the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, home to orphaned baby elephants rescued from the wild. Learn about their incredible rehabilitation process and get the chance to watch them being fed and cared for by their keepers. Continue to your hotel, check in with lunch. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park, enjoy scenic landscapes of the open plains of Kajiado County. Upon arrival, check in with lunch, after a short rest, enjoy an evening game drive when wildlife is most active and the golden light enhances the park’s beauty. one of Kenya’s most photogenic reserves. As you drive through the scenic countryside, watch the landscape transform into the open plains that frame Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds, including the famous “big tuskers,” as well as giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, lions, and a variety of bird species. After breakfast, visit the Kimana Ranger Project, a vital community conservation initiative that protects the Kimana Wildlife Corridor, linking Amboseli to the Tsavo ecosystem. Later, cross the border into Tanzania, heading to the lively village of Mto wa Mbu near Lake Manyara. After breakfast, depart early and drive into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Switch to 4x4 safari vehicles as you descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a wildlife haven where the Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino can all be spotted in one place. The crater floor is alive with zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, flamingos, and hyenas, while the surrounding highlands provide stunning vistas. After breakfast, head out for a full day game drive, the best time to witness predators on the hunt. Return for a hearty lunch and relax at camp before venturing out again for a sunset drive when animals return to the watering holes. After breakfast, enjoy a final short game drive as you exit the Serengeti. The journey to Karatu takes you through the picturesque highlands dotted with Masai villages. On arrival, relax at your lodge surrounded by lush greenery, or visit a local market for souvenirs. Karatu’s calm atmosphere offers the perfect break after several days in the wilderness. Today is yours to explore Karatu at your own pace. Visit a nearby coffee plantation to learn how Tanzania’s famous Arabica beans are grown and processed, or take a guided hike through the Ngorongoro Forest to the Elephant Caves, where elephants dig for minerals. Alternatively, join an optional safari in Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and scenic flamingo-filled lake. In the evening, relax at your lodge and enjoy a farewell dinner with your group.

After breakfast, begin your drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your incredible Kenya Tanzania Safari. Depending on your plans, you may disembark in Arusha or continue to Nairobi, expected to arrive later in the afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or Airport for your onward flights.
