Overview
The Serengeti is a vast wilderness that features rolling savannah plains and countless animals such as wildebeest, buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, zebra, elephants, and over 500 different species of birds including ostriches, tawny eagles, secretary birds and many more.
It is the most popular tourist attraction in Tanzania, as it plays host to one of the world’s great wonders, The Great Wildebeest Migration.Ngorongoro Crater is also a potent tourist attraction, being the world’s largest unfilled volcanic caldera.
The crater is teeming with life and unlike the Serengeti, the over 30,000 animals here mostly don’t migrate and epic game drives are accessible year-round. The greater Ngorongoro Conservation Area is also a UNESCO Heritage Site due to some of the earliest human remains and artifacts dating to almost 2 million years ago were found within the region, specifically at Olduvai Gorge.
This safari is bound to exceed your expectations and evoke awe at the splendor that Tanzania and East Africa have to offer!
